Humble Homebrew: Stonemold Hammer Ignited

After some tweaking and improving with all the advice I received, I have the complete version 1 of the Stonemold Hammer. As I said in the original post I always intended on making it more powerful to warrant an artifact rarity. I think this lives up to that.

I also have a bit of lore that coincides with the creation of this item:

“The deserts of Glavain have long since been home to massive monsters that lurk just beneath the sand. The reigning beast was a massive Purple Worm that had been mutated by other planar magic. Many tried to kill it, but only one succeeded. They were an adventurer who had braved the harshest of environments, through almost every elemental plane. It was through these trials they came across a mighty hammer that could rout armies. When they heard of the Worm they stepped in and tried their hand, but the Worm proved far more powerful than they realized. So with their last remaining strength they erupted the hammers energy and transformed the Worm, and themselves, into solid stone.”

This is an item of legend and I think it is really fun! I enjoyed transforming it and making it something special. Please take it for a spin and tell me what you think.

Thanks for reading Dungeoneers, I hope you enjoyed this new installment. If you enjoyed what you read please consider donating to my ko-fi! Till next time.

    I like it!

One question: it’s not clear whether forming the hammer head is an action. Only really relevant for when you make cover but still a question that’s going to get asked.

    1. That’s a good question! In an effort to reduce how many words were in this I made the mistake of forgetting some necessary info. There’ll be an updated version soon enough. I’m glad you like it!
