So for a while now I have been trying to come up with ideas for a story. I have been aching to write about something that I truly feel satisfied with, but have been lacking the inspiration to go more then just a chapter in. Lately I’ve been juggling with two ideas that i really want to do but have no clue how to proceed.

Idea #1

I wanted to write a story about a kid who is dragged into an adventure unwittingly by a rambunctious group of ruffians. He would face all kinds of dangerous situations but would ultimately make it out of it unscathed. I wanted this to have a comedic feel to it but had its moments of dread and horror. The problem with this is comedy can be difficult to write. I’ve tried a number of times, ending usually before it gains any traction. I really want this one to stick too because there’s something about it that is so appealing, obviously there’s more to the plot then what I’ve shared but that’s to much to put in here.

Idea #2

About a month ago I started tossing around the idea of writing a sci fi book. A couple thoughts sprang into my mind but nothing concrete to make a viable tale. Something generic about a space smuggler that gets in over his head and ends up in some crazy adventure, but yet again my mind refused to spew anything useful out.

Now I know what you’re thinking, “Hey Varsh, this post is pretty short. Why are you such a piece of shit?” I know, I know. This is simply to get my idea on a “physical” medium so I can see it, but also to see how this kind of post would work. So we shall see what happens in the future.
